After half a year of so, suspend works again on my Ubuntu machine! Randomly.
I remember the days that WIFI would randomly work and then stop working.
I turned the wifi driver off on this machine, I'm not that brave to use Ubuntu on a laptop :-)
haha one of my old laptops (which i got from someone else, i always pay attention to compatibility before buying) has a WIFI card built in that's still not supported by Linux, out of the box, very likely will never be there is an out-of-tree kernel module but it's super unreliable this could be seen as a security feature i guess 😀
