Anyone know the status of quantum computing proof encryption development in the bitcoin space?

I remember the 22 bits. I always bet against this quantum Chinese papers. Scam.
fair, they ultimate proof will be when people get the Bitcoin out
Can’t remember the details but I’m sure someone has made a quantum proof update to bitcoin…
From my limited understanding, I believe one of the issues is legacy wallets from the early days will be the first to be cracked. Eventually current wallet encryption methods will not be quantum proof and these users will need to move their coins to newer quantum proof encrypted wallets. I’m curious as to where this stands.
I love how early mined Bitcoin addresses are a bounty for improvement of cryptography
 what about Satishi’s wallet then?
