@c28ce4e6 Very interesting idea! Two thoughts: 1. Reddit did something similar with /r/place. As an AFD joke they developed a central visual document anyone could place a pixel on, with a cool down period to the next pixel. Subreddits collaborated to create art while defending their “turf” from rivals. 2. Your point about a digital status board reminded me of the personalization of MySpace. Profile design what was part of the user’s expression, and would change over time.
