Love these little guys (Heltec V3)

Question for other users:

1) What is the significance of the lock icon next to each node in the node list?   (I notice that some are yellow/unlocked, and others are green/locked.)

My clients seemed to be set to green/locked by default, while most others are yellow/unlocked.

How do I change that setting, and why might I want to?

2) Also, if I broadcast a message in the default primary  "Channel 0",  who can see it?  Is it a public channel for any clients in hop range?    What is the significance of setting that channel's encryption setting to "empty" instead of "default"?

 1) Pretty sure it means those with the lock are running v2.5 or above which adds Public Key encryption to direct messages and enhanced session key based security to remote admin messages.

2) yes...wide open to anyone on that channel. The Key Size should be Default and the Key should be AQ==
