Yep I go into my notifications and follow zappers and commenters (with any brains). Build up that WOT before we have dozens of ReplyGuys that client devs don’t give AF about
I enjoyed having a very small follow list because I felt like I knew everyone on it but the spam has me thinking that I really need to boost my follow list up with some real people before it's all bots and spam. I hope lists on mobile get integrated better so I can easily create a small list of my favorite posters and then a lot of followers to build WoT.
Yea the “follow me, boost, and comment so I can trend and I swear I’ll send you a nickel” is a huge turnoff. Tired old trick that needs to die. Half the time they don’t send the sats anyway but people fall for it.
It doesn’t work on those of us who have been here a while. We just gotta educate the n00bs.
