Oh yes.

In Trust in the Forgotten, multiple moments remain difficult for me to read, especially aloud.

Profoundly sad & tragic will send me over the tearful edge, but so too will happy & heartfelt. Tears make it difficult to see the words. I don’t mind. If I can't feel the emotion in my own work—who will?

As a reader, the heartfelt moments that conjure happy tears are in books never forgotten & always treasured.
