I've been screwed by drive-thrus too many times to ever have food delivered. I pick it up myself and check the whole thing out before I leave.

 @6523fe57 Im too damn lazy for that... but yea i funno what it is but post COVID the quality control on delivery plummeted and i very rarely get a delivery that is complete.

It seems almost intentional (and ive had managers I know tell me it is) where if they dont have something its easier to just not include it then to take the time to call and ask, because most people are too lazy to complain... and when someone actually does complain its so often that they side with the resteraunt... so they have no motivation tog et it right.

I'm pretty lazy too but I'm willing to go the extra mile to make damn sure I get what I paid for. lol

 @6523fe57 Yea me too.. at this point I feel like rejecting the delivery at the door is the best answer... because that way instead of **me** paying by needing to pick it up myself, UberEats pays for their incompetance by doing all the work and getting no money if they mess up... this feels much more in line with "justice" :)
