 I could. and I'm thinking about adding an option for that. 
but I do like the idea of having a URL safe "name" and then a fancy "display_name" with a bunch of emojis

 Having one "name" field and nip05 (nip19 as the fallback) is the best way forward in my opinion. "display_name" and all other obscure fields should be deprecated.
