Love him or hate him he’s the only one at least trying to allow free speech on a major centralized platform, and people are somewhat content there (for now)
He definitely tapped into a stifled desire and seemed to make an effort to support it. The problem is it’s “free speech” only on his terms. Go and try to link a Substack article over there. Probably already blocking nostr links too. I can’t say whether or not your opinion is right, but long term it will all drive to open protocols as we find out there’s no heroes in this game.
