I would guess, time lag between the report to the cops and then the cops to the secret service.  From what I heard there was four minutes. 

I am also looking forward to my questions being answered too.
1) Why didn't they take Trump off stage immediately?  
2) Why didn't the secret service secure all rooftops in the area?

Definitely lots of fails, let's hope we are given answers. 

 Yeah all these things going wrong is hard for me to believe. And trumps tough patriot reaction after is too convenient. This isn’t a superhero movie. 

 It isn't hard for me to believe, I think people assume that people in power have this super control when it is really a house of cards.  As for Trump, I think it was a very foolish for him to expose himself but that is Trump. 

 He did the same thing when he recovered from covid 😂
