Just talked to a #toyota sales rep: there’s no way to have a new vehicle customized without all of the surveillance tech - no way to get rid of the big ass screen or all the unnecessary electronics. Who is going to launch a small business refitting older vehicles or manufacturing cars without all the tech bc I am never buying another new car again at this rate. 

 @7bec3255 I'll have to buy a car soon and I want the dumbest car I can get. I hate where the car industry has turned into the social media industry, i.e., everything we do is the product. 

 Fully agree here. Gotta get rid of the surveillance phones too. I’ll stick to older cars.
