Oddbean new post about login | logout I’ve actually thought about this. It would be cool to write a script that adds a few thousand sats to every transaction with an anyone can spend + timelock so it can be grabbed by a miner in 20 years when the subsidy is tiny 😆
It would be cool to set up a web page that listed addresses corresponding to timelocked wallets that are able to be moved at each future halving block. People could choose to donate sats to which ever future block they deside to choose. Not sure if the technicalities of how this would work, but it would be a neat project. Would also be interesting for inheritance planning. "In the event of my death, my bitcoin is to be sent to these future blocks in the following amounts..."
