I don't feel ridiculous for being paranoid. I've designed a house that is more bulletproof and also less exposing of the occupants to sniper fire, while still being cozy. 

I just should have started this a decade ago...  

 Being prepared for emergencies is not paranoia. 

 It does put me on another watch list, though.
