I didn't go as far as to suggest they should rebuild it for a third time but with secp256k1. They went from IPFS to SSB to custom implemenration. They have some clever ideas.

I'm hoping that the simplicity of git on nostr via nip34 is whay will make it take off.

IMHO it’s patching model would likely work better for Nostr buuut it’s not very mature and no way people would just switch away from git 😂
