It was supposed to just be a cheap first car but between the insurance and the work she's had to put into it, it's been anything but. 

 It’s too bad. I had a Kia once and liked it, didn’t have any problems. Same with Hyundai. I don’t think there’s such a thing as an affordable car for young people anymore.
