Could be. Many shitcoiners (crypto bros) dont like nostr, bcuz it was made by a Bitcoiner 😂 Also many think everything is a conspiracy and made by feds. NOSTR sounds too good and people are skeptical and look for a conspiracy that explains how decentralized protocol for communication could exist
