 I'm on the Satsconf hackathon and the participants are truly inspiring. 

For example, there's a group of twenty-ish y/o young hackers who are building a news platform on Nostr to help journalists reporting from oppressive regimes like North Korea. The hackers are alright.

 I love the fact that Nostr is getting people to realize that we don't need to wait for some big company (that wants to turn you into a product) to develop freedom and privacy tools; the plebs can do it themselves.
