I've given my nsec to at least 5 different Nostr client apps. My nsec is basically public information now. For me to attach money to that nsec would be like getting on a crowded subway car with cash taped to my back.

bitcoin I’m not so worried! Bitcoin is on the blockchain and you can’t hack the blockchain! All my Bitcoin and ether is in my Coinbase wallet. Wallets are just addresses on the blockchain and are safe It’s Nostr and specifically npub.cash I’m queasy about … one throws around the nsec carelessly and I have no idea how safe it is even if you use NIP-07 … logging in with Alby I just hope I don’t lose my Nostr account I’ve just now cleared out my npub.cash wallet … some 10k sats
Me. Ive tried mostly all of them with new generated keys. Ive been here for a year and a few months. I also wrote down my nsec key. Again ive use mostly all clients with new generated keys
this nsec bunker thing gives me some sense of security when using my phone. Had it been around forever, I would've always used this and Coracle.social. Coracle is a very nice client
Coracle has one of the most hideous interfaces I've ever seen. If that was my only Nostr option I would not be here :-)

Good software lets users choose any color scheme they like best. So,... someday... maybe at the moment every Nostr client has serious defects.
