@2184a19c On Monday, I started packing up and leaving - like going *home* after my second class (of three), and before the two other meetings on campus I had scheduled.  

Totally would've gone home if students hadn't stopped me and asked 'is class canceled?'

Online classes are way scarier in that regard, but I'd say you weren't unprofessional, you were human.

Being human's got to be allowed or else we're all done for. 

 @a1dedbb4 Thank you so much. I'm literally (figuratively) mortified. But at least I could turn up for half the lesson, which was something, I guess. The student was very nice about it. And so were the school. Just as long as it doesn't happen too often. It's not going to happen to me for a long while, I hope!

Of course it won't happen often - it hasn't happened often in the past, right?
