That is good to know. Is CrowdHealth represented in Washington State at all or is it still primarily Texas?
We cater to all 50 states and PR. Washington is one of our more popular states, surprisingly.
Actually it’s not surprising, Washington recently kicked out a couple larger health shares from the state and a lot of those members jumped over to CrowdHealth. The State investigated us too but it was determined we are not a health share (we’re not) and we got the green light 👍
After living in the eastern part I can tell you that it should not surprise you. All of the people that make life kinda miserable live on the coast. Most of the others I've met are just like the Texans I had to (sadly) leave behind. Many are rural people that farm and ranch. They don't have time to put up with bullshit. They talk straight . . . aside from the fact that there is not a shred of BBQ here, it's like living back in Texas. God! I really miss BBQ. I'm thinking very seriously about opening a joint up over here.
Yes I’ve heard that with Washington. Can probably be said about most states too once you leave the cities. You should. I head to Austin in about a month for our company hands-on and the main thing I’m looking forward to is the bbq. Terry Blacks blew my mind last year. Any recs for better than that or is that the standard there?
You aren't going to get much better than Terry's but I hear good things about Franklin's (franklinbbq.com). I enjoyed Salt Lick. The one I went to was out of town so it's a bit of a hike but highly recommended (saltlickbbq.com/driftwood/ ||18300 Ranch to Market Rd 1826, Driftwood, TX 78619).
