💯. I used to support free speech but only if it wasn’t hateful and then as I listened to jack and others I realized that stance was wrong. If I say I support free speech I have to support it all. It should all be out there and then people can decide if they want to block or follow it. If you block or ban it does not go away. It just goes to areas of the fringe and then you create a space where that is all you see. It should be up to the individual to decide and not a government or company decide what you see. This is why I love Nostr ❤️

I thought this was a fantastic interview! It was nuanced and did a great job of outlining the most pressing issues. I particularly liked the discussion around freedom of speech versus freedom of reach at the end, and I think this is an area that Nostr should focus more on.
Yes. Media is.. molting. Kind of a free for all. Decentralized protocol would be essentially a parallel internet behind the grasp of totalitarian gov. Which would be the best guarantor of individual rights - sovereignty and free flow of information.
