You might be right, but there seems to be more than just someone being an idiot ;) I admit I'm too lazy to go into all details. That's why I prefer not to form a strong opinion. Of course you can do that ;)
It's really unfortunate. Let's see how other projects will handle it.

 Yes it is far more than just him being an idiot. That's why i mentioned the NDA stuff. I just focused on him. I think he well deserved that. 
I might forget everything if there is a positive outcome as you say
