Set almost two centuries before the action of the Lord of the Rings cycle, this 2D anime is a prequel to the stories of J.R.R. Tolkien. Directed by Kenji Kamiyama, a Japanese filmmaker known for his work on the Ghost in the Shell franchise, it centers on the character of Helm Hammerhand (voice of Cox), the namesake of Helm’s Deep.
