It's kind of ironic that the world gave a country known for excessive spending and wasteful nature, control of the global bank account 🤔 

 hmm I thought it became that after the fact 

 Roaring 20's was before Bretton Woods, what could possibly go wrong 🤣 

 but after the great depression Americans were a producing people 😁 

 Yes we produced dollars 😊
