List of people Bitcoiners have to read to become more politically and economically literate:

•Rajaji
•Rothbard
•Hayek
•Mises
•Sowell
•Bastiat

Podcasts and summaries aren't enough. Reading is absolutely necessary.
I need to build a reading list clearly.

 I would start with Bastiat.

"The Law" can be consumed in very short order and is easy to comprehend.

It makes a great first introduction into the good and evil uses of government and law.

How theft is theft, even if it has the force of law. That just because an action has the government's backing doesn't make it moral.

 Fuck podcasts.

What if the podcast is literally reading Hayek, Rothbard, Sowell and many other authors *to you*?

Huh, what about that?

 Decent compromise.
Audio books biggest shortcoming is that they aren't on podcasting platforms. The format is much better UX, and bigger reach. Innovate, or perish.

If you add some up to date discussion and bitcoiner's pow commentary, that's a great added value. But most of the time, re-reading out loud the content could be eliminated if they come up with better distribution models.
See Legalman’s “the Quash” podcast where he reads LYSANDER SPOONER to you

So good
 Personally? I'd prefer reading.

But if that's what others are comfortable with, sure.

What matters is the depth that a book can deliver.
Agree, podcasts can give you intros to certain topics, but it’s good to get the full low down from the source.
This is a very good compression of a lot of these topics: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25712075-a-spontaneous-order

Good intro to then get into deeper dives

Solid take, but I still think podcasts and summaries are enough for the average Bitcoiner throughout their first epoch, assuming they weren’t avid readers before their bitcoin adoption.

Books are seen as barriers to some folks. People haven’t read it so long and probably the last time they read out loud in school they were likely terrified to make a mistake in front of their classmates and be potentially made fun of.

Stay humble, read books. 🫂📚
 There can be no compromise.

This movement requires us to be smart, sharp and well-read.

It is our responsibility.
