 I assumed he had done things like cheated on his wives and girlfriends, but not that he had raped anyone.

I also used to love Eddie Izzard.  I was surprised about Bill Cosby, thought Rachel Maddow was a good, honest journalist, and believed, as late as 2020, that Democrats just needed to learn a little bit about what “trans” is and they would quickly stop supporting it.

 Oh no, what did I miss about Rachel? I grew tired of her style of “I drag everything out so a story that could be covered in 10 minutes now takes an hour” so that’s why I stopped watching her show (which was before I stopped watching MSNBC altogether).

 Oh, she didn’t sexually assault anyone.  I was just tossing a bunch of ways I have been naive into one list.  She’s very pro-trans and has been willing to be dishonest in order to support the pharmaceutical industry.
