When you homeschool you take away the entire child/teen world. Kids relationships are more complex than people imagine, they have a whole self world. When you took this from them, you steel their love, friendship, frustration, social skills and much more. Kids need a space of development away from home. Also, they need a strong support and learning environment at home. nostr:note1vnf2vp57qmxhmhep4u8sjehpc6wzdf4fjaw4f85tpkshm74glems88p4a4
Homeschooling is not removing anything, it’s adding it. I wish we’d home schooled our kids. Their schools were shit.
This is a great approach. I just desagree when people entirely remove kids from school. In some places this is possible.
The homeschool network is massive, the social side is massive. It’s not about impeding a child’s development, it’s about expanding it. If parents can be involved all the better. If they can’t then the kids get sent to indoctrination camps ( our kids did ) but we are very hands on parents so our kids survived it. My daughter just had a lecture on pronouns at Uni. What a load of BS that is. Luckily she thinks it’s all BS anyway.
