It's still early days of Nostr and Bitcoiners are the most dominant group here, especially given the familiarity with private/public key cryptography, and aiming for sovereignty (not being dependent on a platform to allow them to speak). But there's already a variety of accounts for art, photography, content creation, medicine and all kinds of topics. Just have to find them and follow them. I agree that Nostr gives people the power to monetize their own content without a middleman, so especially content creators, scientists etc have a protocol they are in control of. In terms of user friendliness and features, it largely depends on the client you are using. While all have improved in recent months there are still differences or other things they focus on.
