Ah, Yellowstone! Many great places to spend time there too. Entering the park from the east you might go through Cody, Wyoming, named after William F Cody, a great marketer in his time. Absolutely deserves time spent there as well if for nothing more than the fly fishing waters around Cody. Hundreds of miles of rivers to sneak up from behind on fishies 🐟 for some catch and release. Absolutely. What is so unreal is to see the same undeveloped land as they saw it. The Plains Indians varied in their response to the bands of people traveling to the West. Some of the stories can still be heard from by a few Rendezvous types that are still kicking around. I know one that taught Wyoming history at small schoolhouses that were still going as late as the 90s.
