 my mum's personal Ubuntu laptop has no backup. we use mailbox.org for her custom domains. it comes with storage (WebDAV). is there an application I can install that automatically backups to WebDAV? no command line stuff preferred, since neither my mum not I can into CLI.

Not as far as I know.
I use mailbox.org too and I couldn't find something, I would love to use their cloud but alas.
Speaking of, how do you use your custom domain?

 @kaia déjà dup is a nice graphical application that supports WebDAV storage back end for backups. Really nice and convenient for personal computers.
