The talking heads on TV sound so smug to me now. I don't have cable but I'll catch stuff from mainstream on YouTube. They sound like smug, gaslighting, know it alls.
I remember when Russel Brand cut through some news station's rude questions and implied accusatory attacks, it was brilliant. Like telling a narcissist you do the things you do because you want to, it immediately disarms their gaslighting; if you don't have to explain yourself they run out of ammunition. More people need to ego check these clowns.
