To be clear, you can have as many as you want if you don’t care about the data usage. If you do then I’d go for quality relays over quantity personally

Active and very active are different things For example, paid relays will reduce spam and therefore need less data I wouldn’t leave it at 1, 5-10 should be good enough
We need a tool that can evaluate our relays, our follows and suggest a good new set of relays for our content. This can also include paid relays too but only if they are relevant.
