The thing that stops me from using multiple app clients is having to enter your keys. I use iOS primarily and there’s no signer app like Amber as far as I know. So at the moment I just generate a new pair every time but then the client is not as fun since all the connections are gone 😔
Amber was too buggy on android so I stopped using it too
It's way better now btw
I just uninstalled it like 2 days ago because it kept asking for permissions even after I said don’t ask me
Oh interesting, I haven't used the option since I always grant the permissions. Maybe could report to nostr:nprofile1qqs827g8dkd07zjvlhh60csytujgd3l9mz7x807xk3fewge7rwlukxgppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uhpcfl0 ?
I granted them and wished it would not ask again but it was bouncing back and forth between amethyst and amber, making amethyst unusable
Oh yeh that's been fixed, I used to have this problem. Download version 2.0.3 from zap.store 🤙🏻
I fixed this in an old version of amber, I think Daniele had this problem recently too but o could not reproduce. Let me now if it starts happening again
Isn't there a way to get nsec.app working on iOS?
The app has to support it
And no nostr iOS apps support nsec bunker nip-46?
unfortunately not
@jb55 and I were talking about how you could make existing nostr iOS apps in to nsec bunkers. Using nip-46 to a server then taking the need to sign the event and making a push notification. The client would spin up in the background, download the event to be signed, and then prompt the user. Similar to how you google, LinkedIn, facebook and others use their mobile app for 2 factor authentication. I think we need to make nsec bunker url discovery much easier by putting it in the nip-05 server json. That would let you say put rabble@nos.social in the nostr login form, it’d look up your sec bunker, then use that to log you in to the app with remote signing.
Isn't nostr:nprofile1qqsr9cvzwc652r4m83d86ykplrnm9dg5gwdvzzn8ameanlvut35wy3gpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qdwkdtx working on a signing extension for safari on iOS?
