The NFL trade deadline is approaching, and several teams are eyeing potential trades to bolster their rosters. Three teams that could be buyers before the deadline include the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and Washington Commanders.

The Chiefs are in dire need of a top receiving target after the season-ending knee injury suffered by Rashee Rice. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers could be a prime candidate to fill this void.

Meanwhile, the Lions have been dealing with injuries at their edge rusher position. Trading for defensive end Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders could provide an immediate fix and a long-term solution for their pass-rushing woes.

Lastly, the Commanders are in need of boundary cornerbacks to complement their strong slot corner, Mike Sainristill. Cornerback Marshon Lattimore from the New Orleans Saints could be an elite addition to their secondary.
