There are many different relay types and implementations. This one allows people that you follow and who they follow to all write to this relay. It's a one level deep Web-of-Trust relay. You would still need to be familiar with the command line to set your server up and to install this, it is now however slightly easier than it was earlier today. Maybe in an make a tutorial sometime next week.
