 @StillIRise1963 Nazis can be rehabilitated but doing so is slow and tricky. Life after hate is a group that does just that, but can't do so for everyone and those in power especially.  AKA not fast enough to keep the people they hate safe

 @3967703f  here is the fun part, they were.  The powers that be needed them for the munitions industry.  The old joke was if a US satellite  and a Russian satellite met, they would speak German to each other.   During the ‘great’ war we didn’t get along with our allies, but we did get along with the Germans.  Big, big clue there.  So, we are here, but just like always, serf’s are needed.
