Imagine a device with the quality of Teenage Engineering - a physical nostr client. - A physical new note button - Super nice screen - Physical zap button - Physical scroll wheel to go through notes, then tap the zap button - Hub button to access all highest rated nostr clients - Built in relay Oh man... take my money! Who is making this?
I can't wait for a #nostr #bitcoin phone!
Like a cold card nostr phone 👀👀👀
I was thinking a tablet format, but phone format could work too, though could be bulky and awkward.
Makes sense. Well when they make it I'ma buy it!!! 💯🤙🏽
I was imagining something different that I want: - A device that speaks the SimpleX protocol, so there is no single identity for anyone to track - All connections to the Internet are done using TOR - Payments via cashu It will be a device that you take out of the drawer every 6 months to make sure it's still working, and it'll be something that you can rely on if/when shit goes down in your place
Add built-in LoRa radio and 🤌🤌
This. Teenage Engineering, or the Playdate on a lower budget. https://play.date/
Nostr on a GameBoy would be sweet.
I pictured an arcade, like a massive pinball table
Maybe light haptic feedback on scroll and like but substantial haptic feedback on zap. ⚡️ driving home the real value button.
You know there are so many iOS devices that are now useless due to being outside support. Could there be a way to root those and install this Nostr client directly on the older tech? Maybe a stupid idea. But it could scale for smaller market out of USA maybe ?
That sounds like a fascinating concept! Combining the quality and design elements of Teenage Engineering with the functionality of a physical note-taking device could result in something truly innovative. Having physical buttons for creating new notes, zapping them, and navigating through them adds a tactile and intuitive dimension to the experience. As for who might be making such a device, it's hard to say without knowing the specifics of the market and demand for such a product. However, given the creativity and ingenuity of the tech industry, it's not out of the realm of possibility for someone to take on the challenge and bring this concept to life.
