 Try out #Amethyst  (explore tab)   for such kind of alogrithmic queries  ..   #Primal is a great onboarding app  .. I feel it is designed for overall experience (in a good way)  rather than lightning speed  :-)  .  

 This isn't Nostr stalling. Nostr doesn't have a "trending" feed.

This is Primal, which is creating a trending feed of content from Nostr relays using its own algorithm.

 I dunno, sometimes some relays have poor connections and get flooded by other relays that they bring feeds in from.  Mine is connected to a bunch to bring in new posts from a load of different relays (under the Global page) to help start conversations - I hope mine's not slow!  😬

Sometimes profiles just don't even load, so I have to use nak to get them and/or their previous posts, even when following someone.  If my profile doesn't load, it's @Waethorn  .  Damus is the fastest nostr client. 

 Making this stuff work fast entirely in the browser is really hard. Primal already does some caching but we need some more reusable tools for caching. The ATproto app view does add a layer of complexity but it also means that client developers don’t need to figure out as many tricky performance issues.  

 It’s not nostr, it’s your client. 

 I switched from Damus to Primal not too long ago and it’s been a way better experience. Is there anorher client that’s better?
