It would be nice if we didn’t need to think about Monero, but it’s a separate blockchain that can do very important things that Bitcoin cannot do. Not shitcoinery, but actual use cases. This is why both Michael Saylor and Peter Todd have said "if you need privacy, use Monero".

I don’t want it to be this way, but the culture is shifting and privacy is no longer desirable for these fiat corporations and the governments they trust in. That is why they continue to push their sunken cost into lightning. Devs are still trying to figure out how to scale Lightning. How many more decades until they attempt non-custodial privacy?

Bitcoin is a much better store of value than Monero. There is no second best in that department. But I came to Bitcoin because it is supposed to be the best money, and money has many more properties than "store of value".
Hurry up and build up drivechains then ffs!
Let's add more attachments to BTC!
Fixed supply, nevertheless, is an absolute property of money.
Tell that to gold. Money of civilization for several millennia without a fixed supply.
