Good morning. Today is a good day. The US Government has agreed to release TDev on bail according to a letter filed on July 3rd. TDev's defense makes incredibly smart arguments, stating that the US Government's prosecution is as "aggressive as it is expansive, akin to charging Apple for cybercrimes commited with MacBooks. And like such a charge, it impermissibly uses criminal law to affect policy change. He is facing charges he can, should, and will contest at trial." Putting the charges in context, the defense states that "to stop Bitcoin wallet providers from providing privacy and security services, or to force them to police their customers as banks must, the government has not sought to change the law, or even FinCEN’s guidance on it." The letter states that the US Government "has prosecuted individuals operating a service they had every reason to believe was legal, and stretched to decorate the charges with decontextualized quotes that attempt to sketch out their agreement to criminal transactions the government does not allege they knew about in advance or explicitly agreed to". When read a line in the article about the “uncontested extradition from Portugal” I just stop reading as my blackpilled mind explodes at the massive power of Washington DC and the vassals like Portugal who bend over at the drop of a hat and “jump down, turn around pick a bale of cotten” world we live in Can’t we just abolish the federal government already?

Here's the challenge--if one were to exPat, where would you go? I'm not seeing any country (frankly) that either a) wouldn't turn you over to the US if asked, b) is unsafe and has high crime, c) is really third-world with poor healthcare, and other services. What's out there?

Malaysia: Provides a mix of modern amenities and affordable living. It has no extradition treaty with the US and offers good healthcare options. Taiwan: Known for excellent healthcare, safety, and a high standard of living. It lacks a formal extradition treaty with the US due to complex diplomatic relations. Costa Rica: Offers a stable political environment, no extradition treaty with the US, and improving healthcare systems. United Arab Emirates: Provides high-quality healthcare and infrastructure, with no extradition treaty with the US. However, it's important to be aware of strict local laws. The part that complicates my case is I love smoking marijuana. Pretty sure none of these countries are down with that.

Thanks for the suggestions - the language barrier (for me at least) is another faactor... Have a friend that I think is seriously looking at Costa Rica... UAE - too crazy (and let's just say my religion would be a barrier) Taiwan - there's the whole China thing that would have me spooked. Malaysia - haven't thought of that one...although tropical and muggy are not high on my list (yet weather would be a thing I'd consider comprimising on if needed (I think)).
