 They are Web of Trust relays. Anyone can use them and read from them. You can only write to them if the owner follows you or if one of the profiles they follow follows you. It's a way to deal with spam.

 In Amethyst, do you know what relay catagories these wot relays should be used for? Are they supposed to be your public inbox/outbox relays? Or do they go in the general relay section?

 If you have write access to one then it could be a good Public Outbox. Might not be the best inbox since some of your contacts might not have write access. They will work great as General Relay regardless if you have write access.

 Outbox for sure. Inbox if your contacts are in the relay's WoT. Otherwise, they can't write to it.
