Split online personalities is highly recommended nowadays, when we're living through the privacy apocalypse, we probably can't make it through but at least we have to try.
Befriend the shadows.

I'm gonna create a new anon account tomorrow. If it gets more interactions than this one I'll sulk.

just change your pic. There is 192,742,382 Matt's (with two T) on this planet. Give or take a few million 🤣
Haha funny you mention that. My anon/alt acct personality is leaking out more on Nostr. NFG though.
I'm considering setting up a nym. I do want my presence on Nostr tied to my domain as a "brand". But also I might say something that comes back to haunt me.
Run multiple accounts, compartmentalize, and always use a vpn
Yea I should.
Part of my hold up has just been the lack of attention I have available to do that. Between work and projects I don't post often anyway. If I have to selectively post to a nym I may fall into self censorship simply by not having time to curate my identity.
I know that's not a great excuse for privacy. I already self host all my own stuff for this same reasons so I know it's important. Just tired man lol
I also have more connections here than any other social I've ever used. Don't want to lose that either and it sucks to start from scratch
Your own ego is your biggest enemy. It will always create its own downfall.
We will end up with multiple personalit disorders! At least.
Who's up for fight club?
