 All relays that solely store profile metadata, follow lists, and relay lists should be blastr relays.

 "blastr relays"? why? unless you mean *blasted* relays (i.e. everybody writes those events to these relays)? 
 I mean like the mutiny or nosflare relays. I noticed some of the purplepag.es data isn't distributed to a lot of other relays, and since those events are usually the most edited it would be great to have them automatically broadcasted to as many relays as possible. More outbox support also fixes this, but it's just more of an immediate solution for newer users. 
 You can't read from blastr type of relays. They are proxies, talking to other relays.

I write the type of data you mention to blastr relays in addition to user write relays and, for extra safety,  "bootstrap" relays like purplepages.

But I don't read this metadata from relay proxies, only from bootstrap and user write relays. 
 Good point, I didn't consider that they don't accept REQs.
