Adventures in urban living:
When you live in a building with 1,000+ residents, it really sucks that any single one of them can trip the fire alarm and shut down the elevators.
Because out of a group that large, there are bound to be some jackasses and idiots.
TIL you can descend 10 floors of stairs per minute if there aren't any slowpokes blocking your path.
I’ve only found this out recently after moving to a building with 400 units.
There’s often some idiot hitting a sprinkler head or starting a kitchen fire.
Also no one tells you that fire alarm testing takes a week and working from home will be a nightmare that entire time.
I could prob do a flight of stairs in <6 seconds. Might trip once a month at that speed tho lol
Wait til you find out what happens to toilets in high rises when power goes out and the electric pumps don't work
