was it in bad shape? When I was younger they removed them by default same as tonsils. I got lucky (thanks Mum) and still got both.
Mine was about to burst so they stole it from me.

The Film “Carry on Doctor”, a classic British comedy farce, features my namesake “Dr Hardcastle”, who operates on a patient and looses his watch inside, so they have to wheel him back in to surgery to recover it 😂

Agree, yeah they got mad at me in the hospital for joking about it. They said "We are gonna have to remove your appendix or you will die" and I said "Can I think about it for a second?" They said "No, and that's not funny." 😂
