They will all have their issues. The USB rigs will have USB drop offs because of RFI. The WiFi options will have WiFi issues but you don't need to sit by the rig. I haven't used digirig yet. Was using serial to usb + sound blaster dongle for old rigs.

I love the IC705+Amp, FTDX-101, kx3, ppl really like the IC7300, FT991A. 

 I would have thought the USB would be shielded somehow from anything that produces RFI. WiFi, a bit more understandable.

Does the sound blaster give you mixing abilities for multiple rigs? Or just a solid sound card option?

Will look into these radios.
