Actually, it was the way Adams predicted, the prior convo in 2020 was about crime deaths vs COVID deaths.

The timing? Hardly can criticize Adams for that.

If it was someone who got aids from him I wouldn’t lump that in with average crime stats.
That would have been personal, something that happens even in times of low crime.
