Even knowing I was absolutely revolted by some of the things the Prophet said (Spencer W Kimball) at the time, I had hopes for Mitt. I did. 

I thought he had to be like the brethren I encountered at The Church, like my Home Teachers, and he’d surely do the right and good things for the people. The common man. 

My heart sank with every vote of his. He was bought and paid for by big business.
