I think your work is beautiful. I genuinely enjoy the way you play with light and color and I especially love the pieces where you can really see the brush strokes. I really respect people who can take a blank canvas and transform it into something beautiful. Idk how that helps you grow as an artist though? Or what is actually considered constructive criticism when it comes to art?

OK, I will give it a whirl from what I have seen. You already have your style and process. I believe you could benefit from exploring different techniques or even mediums. I notice you post other famous artists work, I assume you draw inspiration from them. Maybe try adopting their techniques, or use of color and see how you can incorporate that in your own art. I am personally trying to do this as well. Because I feel I've hit a wall. Also try playing with contrast, and the rule of thirds to keep people engaged. I think your paintings are beautiful but there seems to be only one focal point. It could be a fun challenge
Yes that's what I'm trying to do, at least in my head, I would like to try to dare more by trying to make landscapes on the edge of the abstract but I can't do it yet. I should make many more attempts, instead I always try to make complete paintings. I often prefer my paintings at the beginning, when I define the shapes, while when I put in the details they lose strength. I don't know if I explain myself well.
Using an example you posted: nostr:nevent1qqst7qducuu0mdx57e53f3cay84g6em47v8v0hpvvkjpsxthgrhk59gpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7q3q7nd4yu9anyd3004pumgrtazaacujjxwzj36thtqsxskjy0r5urgqxpqqqqqqzanv8c9 What makes this painting so appealing? I see there are only 3 striking colors, with variations where the paint mixes. He only uses big strokes and shapes. There is hardly any rendering. He uses dynamic directions that gives the painting movement so there is a lot of interesting stuff to look at. What I would try replicating: Use 3 colors Use big shapes that lead the eye Use dark darks and light lights Make sure the composition is interesting
Here's what I mean. The way he laid it out has my eye moving all over the canvas and there is always something new to look at. https://image.nostr.build/fdbe85e5149b6ad21989bbaf1c7a3aefe8e67251f4211357d48972800f2bf700.jpg
Now if you put it side by side with a similar painting you've done you can see the differences. Its neither bad nor good. Its just interesting to see different approaches. I put them both in black and white https://image.nostr.build/0c7351c996aabc4c331bc457beae8d7009e271752f96b088fa39bb48c51cc9ad.jpg https://image.nostr.build/659090a672047de6f9a67c665342d4295ccc809dcf28b13b1759733d39357bb9.jpg
Great advice!
Thanks! This is what I try to do for myself. I find art that inspires me and figure out what I like about it and how I can do it myself.
Please don't disappear, I need people like you, thank you infinitely 🙏🫂🎨
No problem!
