Many consider masons satanists because they don’t require a specific belief in Christianity. Instead a belief in a supreme being (The Divine)
With freedom of religion being a man’s natural right it would be improper to impose upon him any particular faith.
This is primarily in lodges that are recognized by the Grand Lodge of England.

Now as history and times change freemasonry is not without its own internal struggles & “scandals”.

The Grand Orient of France & UGLE split years ago as France began to allow atheists, satanists & women into lodges.

Leo Taxil published a tell all revealing the secrets of the fraternity & after years publicly admitted to having fabricated the entire work. He knew the controversy would sell.

My grandfather’s Masonic Bible is such a comfort to me. It is all I wanted from him when he asked what was to be my inheritance. https://image.nostr.build/5557bf4eb75f617aee2f63b8602045d1438fc103d685c636b5c7f3f7b6ca049f.jpg
You have no idea how much I’m interested in learning about the Masons.

To me it is the brotherhood of man, guiding one another in the way of goodwill, service and honor with humility, or building one’s character with a good foundation. Many phrases cone from it ( like, “on the level”, “square up”, a “true wheel”, “plumb line”, “square, straight, level and true”). This is in the first few pages of papa’s Bible. https://image.nostr.build/e764b5441f2ee8d041553697b450ac8a1a5e013bd8707b63598eb254205fb144.jpg
